Oh how I love thee etsy!

For a lovely dose of inspiration go for a visit to (and stay) etsy.
You will find there everything your heart desires ......for your fun and fantastical needs that is!

Vintage fair inspiration images.
I love the colours and whimsicalness of this lovely outdoor setting.
You just want to get lost in it all.... and stay lost.

Settings like these so inspire me and I will be incorporating lovely similar imagery into my own engagement party, which is coming up soon.
It has been a lot of fun hunting in op shops, online, at markets and rummaging through my own glorious horde of treasures,  to find all the different bits n bobs that will (hopefully....I think my man has his doubts about my hoarding ways =) come together in the end to add to a fabulous day.

My fabulous creations

I  LOVE to create all sorts of different art, whether you can hang it on a wall or wear it, im not fussy I like to do it all.
Here is a little lookie see at my Burlesque Mini Top Hats, which I am obsessed with creating at the moment, they are so fun and fancy free.
I have only just touched the surface with my designs so far, and I am looking forward to delving into all the different types of creations that it is possible to come up with these hats.
Sooo many possibilities.... Striped, floral, muted colours, girly, bridal, earthy, baroque, vintage, feathered...... the list goes on. Its all so exciting =)
Each one is unique and completely hand made.
I so enjoy sourcing all the different materials used for the hats.....Im like a little kid in a candy store, when i'm on a material shopping spree... from vintage material to damask to wool felts to heavy satins and silk's.... ahhhhh I'm getting all warm and tingly just thinking about it!

The fab thing, is that most of these hats have walked out the door.... I am looking at creating more, when I can get the time (time is something that I never seem to have enough of ) and will be hopefully opening an etsy store in the near future.
So enjoy
Vintage summer days.

Alright, Alright.....Im coming already!

Well here I am, slightly nervously typing my first entry to post into the vast blogosphere.

The plan..... My blog will be made up of a Varity of all things arty farty, (as I live and breath arty farty) with regular random Inspirational (here’s hoping) images, creations and thoughts, thrown in for good measure.

I love to create and I love checking out creations by others, so this blog will be a mixture of my work, and some of the wonderful work of fabulously creative friends, and of friends that I have yet to meet.

What I am caught up in (obsessed with) creating at the moment includes
(and not limited to) funky fashion accessories, gallery/canvas art, jewelry, illustration and sketch work.

So thanks for stopping by and checking out my first blog, its spring time in my blogland right now, but soon it will be blooming with the best of them....again here’s hoping =)

If your lost and just stumbled onto my page by accident (I usually stumble and veer off course on the net, and have a great old time doing so), relax put your feet up, grab yourself a cuppa and get settled in....as its going to get interesting.
